Long-term debt financing is available for adaptation and mitigation projects in Eastern and Southern Africa making a sustainable impact on addressing the effects of climate change. Projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart agriculture and waste or water management will be considered, among others.
TDB Healthcare VDR
Access to long-term debt financing is available for projects making a sustainable impact on the health and well-being of people in Eastern and Southern Africa. Private sector projects providing healthcare services or producing medical devices or pharmaceutical goods are invited to apply.
TDB Infrastructure VDR
Long-term debt financing is available for projects building the hard and social infrastructure needed to make a positive impact on development and trade in Eastern and Southern Africa.
Ethics 1st
Ethics 1st is an innovative new initiative to improve transparency and scale access to African companies that demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of governance and anti-bribery and corruption (ABAC).
UNDP Africa Business Map
UNDP is building an online database of African Business contributing to the achievement of the SDGs and response to COVID-19.
The purpose is to foster dialogue and partnerships between public, private and development actors in each country that contribute to a socio-economic response and recovery to COVID-19 in Africa and accelerate progress towards the achievement of the SDGs.
TDB Renewable Energy DealRoom
The TDB Renewable Energy DealRoom provides access to debt financing to private sector renewable energy projects, including those of SMEs which have been especially hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Special focus is placed on renewable energy generation and mini-grid projects for industrial and commercial enterprises which can create jobs, enhance access to clean energy, increase trade and investment, and promote new technologies, and which are aligned with the Paris Agreement, SDGs and Agenda 2063.
